Here's another service rifle I really. Partly because I like pretty much everything German and partly becuase it is just bad ass. Fires a standard NATO 5.56 X 45mm round. I've never shot one of these badboys but I really like the way it looks.

M4 Carbine

Gotta love rifles. The M4 is probably my favorite gun. It's simple, lightweight, accurate shooting. The only drawback is they require cleaning often. The rifle is dirived from the AR 15 which was originally designed by Armalite materials engineer Eugene Stoner. Refer to XM177or CAR15 for more information.

Gotta love small Ammo

I gotta admit one of my favorite firearms concept is smaller ammunition that you can carry more of. Fabrique Nationale d'Herstal came out with 5.7 X 28mm ammo a while back. I looked at a few of the New FN guns including the Five Seven. I liked the concept of small caliber high velocity round in a pistol. Pretty sweet gun but it didn't fit so nice in my hands. There are some people making 5.7 upper recievers for an AR15 which I like. Even smaller rounds. Easy to carry lots.
